BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Here's all the most important stuff you need to know about our group tours, with answers to the most frequently asked questions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It's important that you cover yourself for the unexpected by arranging Travel Insurance before you go. Travel Insurance is compulsory for all of our trips.

You’ll need to show proof of your policy to your group leader upon arrival (on your phone or printed).

BOOKING FLIGHTS

Flights to and from the destination are not included in the price of the tour and will need to be booked separately.

It’s best to arrive on the actual start date. This is when most people arrive. There are no activities on the first day but the group gets together in the evening for a welcome dinner at around 7pm.

VISAS

To enter Thailand, your passport must have an ‘expiry date’ at least 6 months after the date you arrive and have at least 1 blank page.

You can visit Thailand for a period of 60 days for the purpose of tourism.

If you're struggling to convince your friends to join you on an adventure, you're not alone!

Travelling solo on a group tour can be one of the most exciting ways to experience a new destination, and you won't have to wait around for your mates to be ready.

CAN YOU BOOK MY FLIGHTS FOR ME?

Flights to and from the destination are not included in the price of the tour and will need to be booked separately.

DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH THE GROUP?

No!

Introvert that needs your own space? No problem!

Want to explore the area solo? Awesome!

We have free time scheduled throughout your tour, but if you want to fly solo at other times that is absolutely fine! Just let your guide know, so they can keep in contact with you!

why can't i book a north tour during January - may?

January - May is "burn season" in Northern Thailand.

This means that the farmers are burning their fields to prepare for the next crops.

Why does this mean we don't run tours?

Simply, the smoke in the air results in super-low air quality and a layer of smog that causes the beautiful views to be hidden.

For these reasons, we do not run tours in Northern Thailand during this time.
